Avant was established to carry out sea, air and rail freight from Asia to Europe, but we were quickly recognized as a good and stable supplier that could also meet several of its customers’ needs.
Today, Avant Forwarding AS is a total supplier in the industry. We are an innovative and forward-looking company in strong growth, which offers a comprehensive portfolio of services related to customs clearance, document handling, consultancy, transport and warehouse services.

The company is Norwegian-owned, and is betting on something we believe is in short supply in the industry, premium shipping. For us, it is a matter of course that our drivers should receive a respectable salary.
Several of the drivers the “larger” companies use today are foreign workers who are unfortunately paid well below the Norwegian minimum wage. We want to change that.

We have a large network with a number of skilled partners, to whom we set high standards. This contributes to better safety on the road and increased service to our customers.
As a smaller company, we also have the opportunity to follow up matters much more closely, which gives us better control over deliveries and reduces costs.

At the same time, as a customer, you get a personal contact person with whom you can communicate, so you don’t have to queue for a customer service that can’t answer you anyway.
